Can travelers smoke in Bhutan?

Smoking in Bhutan , is generally not acceptable because of the culture and religion but due to the change in lifestyle and education, one can find few people smoking.

As Bhutan was declared a Tobacco free country since 2010, most public places are smoke free zone and a designated area is allotted in Hotels and restaurants. Some hotels do not have smoking areas so it is always advisable to ask the hotel staff.
