Sarmet Lhakhang

This temple is a small village temple, at the bottom of a rock. It might have been built in the early 20th century but there is no documentation. The temple looks like a house. The wall paintings show interesting and eclectic personalities from different religious schools: Phadampa Sangay and Gyelba Dondrub, both of the Chod religious lineage, Ratna lingpa, Jigme Lingpa, and a Karmapa. It was taken care and looked after by after a lay practitioner (gomchen)
